2010 Events

Please be aware that on March 30th, 2010, the KCRA board declared a state of emergency. The club has been notified that due to construction at our current repeater site, all equipment must be removed by this Saturday, April 3rd. The equipment will be removed starting at 9:00 AM.

At this time we do not have a permanent home for the club repeater, though the board is avidly searching for a solution. If you are able to help locate a new site for the KCRA repeater, please contact one of the board members listed below.

It is anticipated that the repeater will be back on the air by Saturday evening from a temporary location.

We have not lost our frequency allocation or our equipment, and the club itself is very much alive and well with many exciting events to come.

Arrangements have been made for the Big Apple Traffic Net to be temporarily relocated to the KC2LEB repeater on 440.550 +5 with a PL of 141.3 starting Saturday evening.

Further information as it becomes available will be posted on the KCRA website at WWW.KC2RA.ORG .

Sincerely,

The KCRA Board of Directors
